More Photos from the Weekend

It was dangerously hot and Hattie and Aurora took the worst of it being the biggest girls. I actually feel like Aurora has way more feathers than anyone else being fluffier. That has to be a drawback for them. I was actually so worried about Aurora at one point on Saturday I almost brought her inside for the night.

Because they were not out and about I do not have a lot of photos of them both. Here are their best.

You have wonderfully photogenic hens. Having a soft spot for Lilly I am particularly glad she got some air time!

Thanks. I find Lilly actually very hard to photograph. She does not pose as she always seems to be in motion. I was thrilled to get that shot of her on the steps. That's one for the dining room wall.

There is One Hen Left

I left her for last on purpose. The queen of being phophotogenic. The lady who loves to pose. Miss elegant herself. Her poofiness.

The last one was so close to perfect. I just missed getting her full name in the photo. I actually totally missed that I could have framed that in.

Group Shot

Every photo session has to have a group shot. Everyone is here but Sansa. She must have been laying an egg at the time.

Gosh. It looks like they are posing on the catwalk for you, especially that 2nd one of Lilly.

The beauty of digital cameras is that you can take a lot of photos for no cost. A lot of the pictures I take do not turn out. In that instance for some unknown reason, Lilly held the pose for me. I feel very fortunate to get that one.

Looks like Phyllis was purposely finding flowers to pose with.

She was looking to nest in the pansies. This is a new thing for her. Mrs BY Bob does not find it humorous. I kinda do.
