Family Dinner
When my children were growing up dinner time was sacred. No matter what was going on we sat at the table and ate as a family. No TV. When they got older no cell phones allowed at the table. Talk as a family. It was the one time every day when we were forced to be a family and understand what was happening in each other's lives. Its nice to see Sydney doing the same.

I have officially let the newbies out and about for good... so, I decided to use their brooder section for a broody buster! Perfect! I had to put Tunie in the old coop alone for everyone’s safety... talk about BHS (broody hen syndrome) ..... oh, and in case you hadn’t noticed... I am back at five broodies again!!!

Vicious rooster pictures!

Mite check and general check up for Treacle. Hosetly, he stis on my lap and drops his head and stays perfectly still while I check him over. Cillin was next and he's the same. Notch I do on his perch at night. Same for the bantam males, night time checks usually.

Shadrach, my roo Jaffar lets me do that too, but BEN and BLU no way! (Jaffar is a good roo)too!
