Fluffy Butt Friday!

Was out this evening taking pictures of Nugget and her babies Clover and Bread *don't ask, yes i have a chick named Bread*. Drumstick strolled by and realized I had my camera out and i swear he started posing for me. Here are a few of them, I do believe some chickens know what a camera is and are proud to strike a pose.

Yes they do. Some chickens love to pose. Phyllis is one. Looks like drumstick is another. You have taken great pictures of him. What a gorgeous boy he is.

Could you put the pool cover on when you're not using it, or is that too much of a pain?

You really can't. The water needs exposed to the sun.

I have a sneaky suspicion she's going to end up my next house chicken. I miss Abigail visiting in the house.

A double Fluffy Butt entry from me today. This is Tack the hen I've been looking for.
I've found her nest...well, I know where it is within two square metres. My problem is extracting her without trapping her and possibly causing an injury. More later.
Tack left her nest at 8am. She diidn't go back to it until 1pm.

I lost her at one point. That's her up a tree.
