It was a bark scorpion I thinCan you tell the black scorpion story? My curiosity is peaked. How did you save her?
Yes, it was a bark scorpion I think as that's mostly what we have here. (I am in the metropolitan Phoenix area.) I have stepped on one myself before, it's awful. Can you tell the black scorpion story? My curiosity is peaked. How did you save her?

Anyway I came outside (had been in for about two hours) and she was slumped, staggering when she tried to walk. Dried white foam by her beak and nose.

Oh man!! He is handsome! And I think you are right... my Rosemary sure knows how to pose! Just like Phyllis in her photo shootWas out this evening taking pictures of Nugget and her babies Clover and Bread *don't ask, yes i have a chick named Bread*. Drumstick strolled by and realized I had my camera out and i swear he started posing for me. Here are a few of them, I do believe some chickens know what a camera is and are proud to strike a pose.

Beautiful Fluffy Butts!A double Fluffy Butt entry from me today. This is Tack the hen I've been looking for.
I've found her nest...well, I know where it is within two square metres. My problem is extracting her with trapping her and possibly causing an injury. More later.
Tack left her nest at 8am. She diidn't go back to it until 1pm.

I lost her at one point. That's her up a tree.View attachment 2289744
Here she is in her box lolView attachment 2289859Sorry, just ignore me.
I took her to the vet, because I wasn't 100% sure that's what it was. It just seemed like a potential neurotoxin. They confirmed that it probably was and I couldn't leave her there for thousands of dollars although I gladly would have if I had had it.Anyway...
I got anti-inflammatories for her and pain meds (they hurt terribly!) and brought her home and brought her inside.
