Ned has this "look" where he tilts his beak down and stares at you. When he gets bigger I think it is going to be very intimidating.

We have all been ooohing and aaaahing over Ned (and rightly so), but that Lucky is a very fine looking chicken. Her coloring is beautiful! I love that picture of her with Ned asleep behind the brush.

We have all been ooohing and aaaahing over Ned (and rightly so), but that Lucky is a very fine looking chicken. Her coloring is beautiful! I love that picture of her with Ned asleep behind the brush.

Thank you for saying that. I suggest everyone zoom in on this photo of Lucky. You can really see the lacing on her feathers. I think she gets prettier every single day. Add to that how she eats out of my hand now, and sits by me even when Neds off gallivanting........its going to be hard to say goodbye.

She really is beautiful.
If I weren't finding my two young ladies a handful, and if it weren't that it would be MUCH better that she stay with Ned, I might be jumping in my car and driving your way!
She really is a Princess - her feathers look like she is clothed in ermine (which is only right and proper as ermine is really just a pretty, but still vicious weasel!).

Need to get her fall ready. Post a pic when you get a chance. A friend of mine had one of those back in high school. That thing was a blast. Me and a couple of friends once picked it up and moved it into the faculty lot one day.

Here she is, in all her 74.5 glory. Only the past 2 or so years has she been cantankerous, the other 14 she has been awesome and pretty reliable overall.

One thing I've noticed with all my crossbreeds is all the beautiful lacing the girls get. She is exceptionally pretty!
