Sleeping In

I have not seen this before and I am wondering if I should be concerned. The flock has been out of the coop for 30 minutes now. Aurora is still roosted. Thoughts?

Maybe she got a talking-to last night about her behavior and she is sulking.
My Princesses have very different views on bed-time and when to get out of bed.
Maggie has always been (even before she was sick) one to go to bed early (to secure her favorite spot) and she is always last to come down from the roost and seems sometimes to still be deep asleep when the sun is already up.
The new Little Princesses are typical teenagers - they stay out late until it is really dark and then nothing will budge them in the morning. So most mornings the two of them and Maggie are still asleep when I go in to open everything up.
Diana on the other hand gets up an hour before dawn - she is the one that stumbles around in the dark.
So long way of saying, maybe Aurora is just having a lie-in. We all deserve one now and then!

She was up an hour later. I wanted to see how long she would sit there so their breakfast is late today. The others will not be happy.

The Last One

My final layer at work.

That's very young to get expelled. Out here, rightly or wrongly, they try everything to prevent a child from getting expelled. Most of the worst boys landed in my remedial classes but we got along like a house on fire ~ which is rather worrying, or says something about my head space that is more than a little concerning:gig.
:lauWhoa! I didn't get expelled because of anything I had done. My Old Man and Mum got me expelled.
I'm not sure I can afford the chicken pic tax to tell the story.
I'll go and ask a few to strike some poses for me.
