Wow! So my brain has made up a weird number or whatever I read was super old.

Apparently, not only do they recognise the individual, they also know that individuals place in the hierachy. They can do this from a few weeks old.

Flock Drama

So now I’m in the flock drama club. Minnie and Dorothy started fighting recently. I assume this is a result:

Today started out with a drizzle of rain...

Violet escaped again. I know where she's getting out from but since everything is frozen i can't fix it correctly until the ground thaws.

Next thing I know it's snowing. Violet was still outside, but now she's wet and has ice on a few feathers.

I gathered her and Phoenix up and brought them I. To warm up and dry off.

At least the chickens use the cat tree...

What a great use of the cat tree! Davis would be shocked to find ladies on his.

As I stated before. (Many previous posts, and on a different thread) THAT'S NOT MY RABBIT.
Comes over from next door, eats my chicken treats, and hangs out with my chickens. He's Okay, but also digs holes in my yard. but the chickens do too. I guess I must allow it!

Silly girls wouldn't touch the cabbage end, but were crazy excited when I cleaned out their coop (not the one in the background that's just a rain/ sunView attachment 2474055 shelter now) and dumped everything on the yard debris pile

They might have missed something!

Sorry for the drive by post, meant to post the other night after I took those, poured rain not 20 min later. At work on lunch. Finally made past the 1000 pg mark in my read from the beginning. Back to work, see you later.
