They are flock animals
:eek:I just couldn't let this one slip by.:p
Tribal creatures please if you must. Birds, or fowl are not considered to be animals and chickens, as I would love to prove to you by having you visit for a few months are not flock creatures.

I'll get my coat then,:oops::lol:

I've tried in the past to get a picture of Hinge that shows the flap of skin just below her wattles. This flap of skin didn't die after the second hawk attack she survived. She's survived three so far. This years moult was the first time the skin under the flap grew feathers. In fact, this year has been the first year that Hinge has produced such a magnificent feather growth all over.

Roostie at the Vet Today

Everyone please think positive thoughts for @Kris5902 and Roostie today. It is the day of the Vet visit. Finally! Good Luck Kris! :hugs:hugs
Thanks! Arrived at the vet, appointment is in 15 minutes... if you’re ever wanting to get too much attention, carry a baby goat with you. I got some water microwaved at the petsmart, had to bring her in. Was walking her a bit at the laundromat parking lot. Had to take her in to meet the laundromat staff

I have discovered that the all time favorite at the Chicken Palace is shrimp tails. I love shrimp but it is not exactly something I eat every day so I am wondering if any of the grocery stores might have scraps they would otherwise throw out that I could have for the Princesses. I don't even know who to ask but I am going to give it a go!
Check in with a WholeFoods if there is one near you? They were fairly good for things like that when I started there, but service will vary greatly from location to location, and I have hardly been since the Amazon purchase.
