1 chick is out so far and i wish i had a broody hen to stuff the other eggs under and let her deal with it. It hatched early, pipped on day 19 and came out 4 hours ago on day 20. In it's rush to greet the world the yolk had not fully absorbed and their was some blood loss. I used corn starch to stop the bleeding, and gave it drink of save-a-chick. and stuck it back in the incubator on a paper towel. It's perking up some and it's wobbling around. I'll breath a bit if it makes it 24 hours, and feel it should be in the clear if it makes it to 48 hours. I have another egg pipped and chirps coming from a third.
Here's the little girl, fairly confident its a girl. It has no visible comb at all, In the summer when bumblebee hatched he had a noticeable comb at hatch, all the pullets hatched like this one, nothing at all.

Phyllis knows that I wont stop her so as I approach the door to the big run she comes to the door and waits for me. The others back off and move back towards the porch extension. Phyllis always darts right through my legs. I let her do so because if I call her, she returns. I don't have to chase her. I did have to call her around the complex as I did not open the side door that she normally uses and she was waiting there to get back in.

Tried once again to get one of my ladies to eat a bite of salmon (or any seafood) nope, that is not edible. Blueberries only please. 20210128_150404.jpg
