O gosh. Looks like you are getting what I was afraid of. Please stay safe. No wandering in the meadow.
Ha no, I will be sensible! Though it was a bit reminiscent of that event going out to the Chicken Palace this morning, but that is only 2-300 feet and I could follow my own footsteps back.
I might be tempted tomorrow to go out further just to get some cool pictures of the Chicken Palace in the snow but for now I am defrosting my toes before I soft-boil Maggie's egg which is just so beautiful it deserves to be eaten solo.

So cute! :love Are they potbelly piglets? If they are...they make great house pets @BY Bob ...:D

They are registered Hereford pigs. They are literally bacon seeds. 4-H is very popular in our area so the kids raise the pigs as a project through the year and then they show them at local and state level. The pigs are then either auctioned off, for food, and the kid keeps the money, or they are kept for breeding.

This the mom to the newest piglets.

She's a big lady. Not really something for the house. 😆

Bacon seeds...lol! I don't think Mrs By Bob will want one of these...:D
My kids raised pigs for 4-H, it was a great experience for them, the people and businesses that buy them at auction are so supportive and they really reward the kids well for the work they did with them. This brings back some fun/funny memories. The last pig my daughter raised was really friendly and she could do almost anything with it! Well, we got to the fairgrounds and unloaded the pigs into the chute so that they could be weighed and about halfway down the chute her pig decided it really didn't want to go any further, so she got in behind it to encourage it to keep on moving...somehow that pig managed to turn around and headed back the way it came, it's head went right between my daughters legs and she was riding a fast moving pig backwards...everyone was laughing so hard...she renamed that pig, calling it the pig from hell, my daughter never swore, so that made it all the more funny, it wouldn't do anything she wanted it to! :gig She earned some really good money for the pig from hell and was glad to see the tail end of it! :D I have many other stories, but I'll spare you all! We've never had a Hereford pig...I've heard that they are really good pigs to raise!
