Tax
I seem to have been talking a lot about my house not my chickens. Here is my tax payment.

I've been trying to get some more of the med kit things we've talked about. For lidocaine cream, there seems to be two kinds: for hemorrhoids and for use prior to getting tattoos. 4% or 5% seems popular. What do you all recommend? Is there a respected brand? And I found a styptic powder - for dogs - but it appears to have some benzocaine in it, which I now am thinking actually could be good, given that the amount one would use is very small.

@BY Bob I wonder if these would be helpful re our pain meds / topical pain meds discussion, if you haven't seen them already. They both seem to be adjunct materials to either a lecture or a course, but there's lots of references to studies that may be helpful. I don't get all the lingo, not by half, but I'm gathering that research into pain treatment in birds is really new.
