Ugh I'm a idiot and I hope I didn't screw up to bad. With the fiasco of holding crybaby *Toothy Jr* for people last week and non showing up, the sick chick and nest laying shenanigans I completely forgot that the 6th was lockdown day for the other round of eggs in the incubator. I only remembered this morning when with my first cup of coffee glance at the date on my computer. The 8th, what...can't be those eggs should start hatching the 9th. ran to my paper with dates written down and have a panic attack. I've removed the turner, upped humidity and now just pray I guess.

The plot thickens.
Turns out it was Dotty not Minnie on her own on the roost last night. Did I get it wrong and it has always been Dotty? I don't think so, but it is only easy to tell one from the other when they are together. Are they taking turns? Why?!

No Sun & a Squirrel Sighting

@RoyalChick It looks it's going to be a while until we see sun. I just checked the forecast. Snow from Tuesday through Friday. It's the Wednesday through Friday storm that has me most concerned. How much are they forecasting for you now? We are supposedly only looking at 6 inches but that feels very low to me.

I saw a squirrel today as well. First one since December. It looks like it is tyring to retrieve all the seeds it had previously buried. A tough job with all the snow. The nest must be empty.

I'm thinking, that even though Coco, isn't the biggest peep in the littles tribe, I'm quite sure that she is the smartest one. (Always the first to jump up on my hand, when I reach down to touch them) She will look me strait in the eye, and that touches my soul !
