I have plenty of materials already. Enough to build a small house. All construction materials I have collected over the years, and thank you Ribh :hugs
We built ours out of plywood as a 4x8 coop from a lot of scrap we had around , also we backed up to prvcy fence which saved on siding for 2 sides. Doors were 2 old windows taken off a project we bought panes for. . We used all our scrap plywood and last 2x4s were cement forms! I know it's small but it's sure sturdier than anything you can buy local. Back 2 feet is my storage area. Hope you enjoy pic Fluffy

Thank you. How many birds do you have?

Great picture. I must say you have the most exotic-looking tribe! There's also something medieval about it too, with the ruff feathers against the solid body feathers...and the harlequin pattern...just lovely.

I could just build off of this, and add an extra run on the side? :confused:View attachment 2525069
That would work. Integrating would be easier with a removable door between the coop. Start with hardware cloth then go to something where the small chickens can go through but the Bigs can't and a third where it's wide open.

Thank you. I'm afraid I'm rather notorious for choosing pretty over practical. These are my newest additions. A SLW frizzle; a GLW, a Vorwerk; 2 Japanese Bantams; a Belgian frizzle & an Aracauna X frizzle. they are all very sweet.
