That has happened to me before and I could never figure it out! I wonder sometimes if one can lay two eggs in one day.. or one lays late at night then pretty early the next day

I think it must be something like that because I am 100% sure I didn’t miss one when I collected the day before.

You could give me more brain cells. You have 6 eggs and 6 hens but you only have five that lay eggs. So I can’t make it add up.

I have five hens. And five eggs. No confusion at all. Wait. Two of mine lay blue eggs. So what is this all about?

I have been collecting in the evening because nobody has laid when I let them out in the morning and with the snow and ice, multiple trips are not that appealing.
I think someone laid just before going to bed after I locked up and then again just before I came to lock up.
