That's it! I'm convinced I've got a bunch of complete hooligans now. There is no way they would put up with that.:D
She was pretty sick at this time, so there wasn't much fight in her, but she's also one of my easier hens to handle. :)
 
I did a little test today, to see just how ferocious the littles are. I made pork ribs last night, and saved the bones. I set the littles on the chick blanket, and presented them with a bone. Just like Velociraptors, they attacked it. As I watched them shredding the meat off of it, I began to worry. They started looking over at me as if to say “you’re next!” :eek:

I saw my “Rocket “ swallow a whole mouse before too. She just caught it and ate it. Done deal.
 
This type of pad is what seems to have worked best for Cillin. The pad thickness is 9mm. A pad lasts about 2 days. I've been quite surprised at how much they compress after just a days use. Anything much stiffer is uncomfortable for Cillin.
I tape this on with sticky textile medical tape. The same stuff you can see in the picture.
