I just stumbled upon your thread and I am currently on page 135/3794 😂 I've got a lot more reading to do. The stories of your chickens kept me entertained last night and early this morning. I totally felt a whole range of emotions reading through your thread- I was so sad that Jabber ended up having to go (but I totally understood why he had to go), I was so happy when you decided to keep both Aurora & Maleficent, and I must admit that I teared up a little reading about the passing of Patsy 😢

I'm only on page 135, so there are many more updates for me to go through! I'm sure there are much more changes that have taken place and I can't wait to read all about it!

Thats is Goldie, but Morgan is holding her.

There was a terrible tragedy locally last week. During a house fire a 13 year old girl was killed. That girl was one of Morgan's best friends.

Morgan has been having a bit of a rough go with it and couldn't wait to be with her dad to talk about it. After they talked she went down and caught Goldie for a little chicken therapy.
Oh bless the poor girl. That is so sad. 😢 Please apologize to her for me mixing her up. Yes chicken therapy helps. Good job Goldie. :hugs

No, I was on-line, I have been busy outside for the last 2 months. I moved the blueberries and turned raised bed #1( I had to climb up and stand on the top of the bed to turn it.) Cleaned up all of the herb beds, & added compost and Dr. Earth to the all. We built another concrete block garden bed. Both are 26 feet by 4 feet and we made a new asparagus bed and potato bed. The wood we had used 9 years ago finally rotted out. I got all of the garden veggies direct seeded, the turnips and radishes have sprouted and I noticed this morning the kale is a go~ the peas too are sprouting. I have tomatoes and chilies & squash started in the greenhouse.

So much happened in those 135 pages. Wow. I'm glad you have enjoyed it so far. In 2020 a number of people discovered this thread and we have grown into quite a wonderful active community. I hope that you decide to join in. We would all love to hear stories about your flock as well.

My church knows what I am going through, so one special friend of mine, gave me this today at church. Yep, I felt good enough to attend today.

Thank you for the warm welcome Bob! I'll definitely be joining the thread and I will introduce my flock soon.... but I'm hoping to get caught up a little more first. Hopefully it doesn't take me a month :lau
