That's interesting, the delineation between your house and outside.

I'm sure you know that I almost never pick them up. Only in emergent situations. Their body is theirs. But I need to be able to get close enough to touch them and pick them up if necessary.

There was an earlier hawk attack today. It got a song bird. I needed to get them all in back in the complex and locked up. Everyone but Sydney was easy. I had to dance with her. That's not safe.

I am not going to go around grabbing and touching her. I do want to have a relationship where she is not terrified of me doing so.

Yup, it's strange but it's a real thing. I suppose it's understandable if they see the place as my coop. They've got better manners than many humans.

I love being with my girls but just like children I also love the part when they are asleep.

I must admit I breathe a sigh of relief once they're all tucked up for the night.
The hens are really loud when they kick off in the house.

I think my girls are over mud ATM, they’ve had more than a solid week of it. Is coccidiosis only prevalent when it’s warm and wet or just wet? Should I give them some Amprolium tomorrow?

Yes it is & Nyssa has a beautiful mug! I love my SF too, they are just beautiful & I assume they all have amazing personalities!

Have you had problems with coccidiosis in the past? I've dealt with it a couple of times now & I do know that it's been in warm & damp conditions.
