That's what it looks like.

We don't have those here, but it appeared very wren-like (beak and "checkered" feathering and stance) so I looked it up!

I was not sure what type of wren it was. I just know that by flying inside with the cats it was suicidal. They may be terrified of my chickens and give chicks a wide berth, songbirds are fair game.

Here is the baby that flew into a bucket full of water. Twice. I had to rescue him twice, return him to the nest, and then baby-proof the garage.

My fault for leaving the doors open during the day. But once they moved in and had babies what else could I do?! I was quite sad when they all moved out. Though it was better not getting bird crap on your head as you walked to the car.
