Well I have a good excuse. I've been looking after my big sister and her animals for the last 3 days. She was diagnosed with appendicitis and went in for the operation a few hours later and needed a pet sitter and general dogsbody to help bring her things.

Sick Sunday, diagnosed Monday morning, operation Monday night, discharged from hospital Wednesday morning.
It was very sudden!

She's not supposed to exert herself for the next couple of weeks so I will be going down to help her with the heavy lifting now and then. So if I'm not around BYC as much, that's why.

I’m getting to be a chicken (master chickeneer ) it seams. I love chickens so much, I’m taking online poultry courses to know what to watch for. Even my county office has a library online for agricultural purposes. Awesome!

I just witnessed the strangest thing.
Our neighbour was using his whipper snipper so the girls all ran up the far end of the garden under the yukkas.
Then Belle just kept shaking her head. Now he has finished with it she has stopped (thankfully, otherwise my worry would have grown)
Maybe it was the pitch/decibels it was running at was annoying her?

Mugs Monday!!

Bokky sat on my lap for the first time!! She was looking sleepy so I picked her up and sat holding her, giving her neck a pat.
Then I let go and told her she could go if she wanted. She turned around and sat down and stayed for ages until I put her down!!
