It did look like they were all in little jails and they’re not pets, but I did get the vibe that they all cared for their birds.
I am glad you said that because looking at your pictures made me feel a bit sad. I remembered that when I took Maggie to the vet I put her in a small cat carrier and she was more confined than those cages and she settled in and was quite content, so I guess for a short period it is OK.

I might try to ring again on Monday and ask differently.
I thought the exact same thing.
They send it off somewhere else to be tested from the sounds of it but still, a bit much.
A fecal analysis she called it, would that be correct?
Maybe not. Ask for a fecal float. They might be culturing it as well but still that is way too much.

As I showed for $270 you can buy the equipment and do it yourself. That's ridiculous and I would tell them so.

No bloating that I can feel, they are so spry and young compared to Bok (and don’t squat yet because they haven’t even hit laying), catching them is the fun part. 🙄
On another note, getting to touch Snow’s feathers this morning while I had her half in the towel was a majestic experience. They feel like silk 🥰🥰🥰
Petting the feathers is wonderful isn't it. Aurora's are like that. She is really fluffy and those feathers are like silk. Sadly I have to sneak my pets in as she hates to be touched

I’m so sorry @BY Bob, it feels like your page is becoming the ‘help scrambles with her chook issues’ page!!
You are not alone. Yesterday featured a lot of chicken help. I'm glad we are all here to help. I know how helpless you can feel with no knowledge and a sick hen. :hugs :hugs
