Dorothy isn’t even two yet, and this has been going on for about a year. I think it’s either poor genetics, an infection or both. She’s in the nest box right now. I anticipate an egg with a brittle shell. Will update.

Ruby is sitting with a low tail and heavy breathing, but was up and about with tail up a bit ago.

Dorothy and Lucky are both in and out of the nest talking about eggs.

Sunny has to lay and is hovering nearby waiting her turn.

We’ll see. If I remember to turn on my iPhone. I’m usually concentrating on the job at hand. I will try to remember.

Uneventful trip. I decided it was cheaper to drive, than fly. (Driving only took 1.5 hrs each way) Jaffar has his replacement hen, and I found this in the yard, when I got back home. Any idea what breed this tiny one is? Not fully feathered either??
