So it seems Vicki has been getting out a lot longer then I thought. I was doing a bit of Spring cleaning and found this...

I accidentally bumped one and I proceeded to EXPLODE everywhere. The smell was unreal! Thankfully everything was outside and I hosed it all down, but man what an absolute mess.

OMG! Phyllis! In all honesty, she came to mind first for two reasons... because you love her so much sand because I wondered if Polish mother like silkies. But I still voted Aurora based on behavior.

Noticing the red of the eye matches the comb and wattles! Calm and content. Pretty.

Calm and confident! Those are the EXACT words I have used to describe my Barred Rock, Bridge. There is something about them!

My guess would be access to grit. I would think that providing her with access to a reliable grit source would solve the issue.

Minnie was feeling unwell and seemed backed up recently. I eventually tubed a concoction of baby bird formula with yogurt and molasses. She seems better now, and when I tossed down a handful of granite grit, she was all over it!

I dreamt I bought eggs and I had them in an icecream container. All of a sudden I looked down at them and they had leghorn chicks hatching out!
Because my pullets aren’t laying let alone broody I decided I’d give them to @BY Bob
It’s definitely been on my mind
