Butter's nickname has always been Butterball but miss picky has earned a new title and nickname. She is forevermore to be referred to HRH Princess Buttercup. It has been a challenge to find things she will eat during her rehab. And what she likes one day she turns her beak up at the next. That is until yesterday when I discovered she has a new favorite food by total accident. Raw shrimp. Had a bag of frozen shrimp in the freezer and 2 nights ago thawed some out and fried it up for mom and Rosie. Thawed out too much so their was a dozen pieces left, took half to her and she inhaled them. Yesterday afternoon after throwing a good 90% of her food out of her bowl on the floor and only eating a few kernels of corn I brought the rest of the shrimp to her. I fully expected her to determine it wasn't good enough but again inhaled them. And then proceeded to eat her normal food the rest of the day. So far this morning, she has thrown out her corn, raisins and chicken feed out of her bowl and been giving me dirty looks and muttering to herself. So yes, the princess has a dish of shrimp on the counter thawing out. I hope she knows this could turn expensive real quick. Not that I think she cares.

The little minx snook past my fence when it was raining last night, :( so I rushed out and hid some food near the bin he was licking the other day. Then worried about him because it's very cold at night. It was only 3 here at 10AM this morning. I so wish I could trap him to clean him up and feed him and get him a warm place to sleep. The cat protection didn't email as promised. What a let down. I need a trap quick smart

A local feed store or even hardware store should have a trap.

Another place to reach out to, if you have them there, is a trap, neuter, release organization for feral cats. They often loan traps.

Happy Saturday morning, folks! I was so happy to wake up and remember it’s Saturday. I let the girls out and was happy to see everyone seeming to be feeling (mostly) well. Yay!

I still need to walk to dog, but sat with the girls a couple minutes. Bridge has been following me around “talking” and led me to a little stump I sit on. When I sat down, she got in my lap, so I did this.
OMG that is adorable. Thank you for sharing. She is singing along! :love :love

Mine go nuts for shrimp. I give them the tails of shrimp I eat and it is hands down their favorite.

I never made a song for rocks-Ann, but the same story applies.
