That's about right. I can talk to the other critters but there is no reasoning with a nesting magpie.

It's that she reverts to a little girl when in terror and wants Mum to protect her. Nesting Magpies think I'm a threat so I can relate.

A swooping magpie is very scary.

Well she did put herself there on purpose to check if her helmet with eyes worked. So I don't feel mean laughing.

They problem is what they do to your pool.

They create an awful mess (imagine swimming in a pool with chicken poo in it) and carry algae which is the bane of any pool owner.

When they were hanging out here I let them be as long as the pool cover was on but once the cover was off I had to run them off.

So true, like other water animals they go where they are! This pool looked like it was more of a natural-scape situation.
