This is the ultimate SHRA.That's about right. I can talk to the other critters but there is no reasoning with a nesting magpie.
I have to share this video again for those who weren't here the first time. You need the sound on.

Seems appropriate that it is nesting near a cemetery. This is exactly the clip I was looking for! Make sure your sound is turned up.

Jinx! It's my favourite too. "Go home! Get Mum!"I always loved this one

Funny video and pictures of your ladies. This worked out wonderfully.
Hahaha, yep.So they hate people on bicycles? She was terrified. I can't stop laughing at her.![]()
It feels mean but I can't help it.Hahaha, yep.
Her face just cracks me up!

It's that she reverts to a little girl when in terror and wants Mum to protect her. Nesting Magpies think I'm a threat so I can relate. It feels mean but I can't help it.![]()
Well she did put herself there on purpose to check if her helmet with eyes worked. So I don't feel mean laughing. It feels mean but I can't help it.![]()
So true, like other water animals they go where they are! This pool looked like it was more of a natural-scape situation. They problem is what they do to your pool.
They create an awful mess (imagine swimming in a pool with chicken poo in it) and carry algae which is the bane of any pool owner.
When they were hanging out here I let them be as long as the pool cover was on but once the cover was off I had to run them off.
