I felt generous this morning, so I made Scrambled eggs, chopped up some cooked bacon from yesterday, and some steak, from last night. All the chooks are going crazy over it, right now!

That is better than what I had for breakfast. I am not complaining - I had three tiny roadrunner eggs fried in butter and on sourdough bread. Yummy.

Good morning. Ruby is quite perky this morning. Unfortunately, I have to go to work. So she’s getting her own, private mini free range time before I head out. I’m only giving her 15 to 30 minutes, but it’s nice and cool, and she might consume a little something. She seems not to be eating in the run unless she is picking up bits off the ground, and there’s not much nutritional value there. Out here, she must be getting seeds and bugs. The rest of the flock is absolutely not impressed that she’s out without them, but I wanted to stimulate her will to live again. Someday I would like to have an acreage of my own, that I could fence in, and have a livestock guardian dog protect. My sweet border collie is great to have out here to deter predators, but there’s no way she’d guard the yard on her own.

What a lovely clip, even the sheep dog is adorable
