I am 90% sure 1 is a silver laced Wyandotte. 2 on the other hand is some silver laced easter egger anomaly. I am hoping for their heads to finish soon and want them to sprout some muffs.

It’s 85 degrees and humid here, and it’s going up.
My girls are all hiding out under the house and in the shady underbrush.

It’s been going between 34 and 78 here. But it gets pretty cold in the morning, it’s currently 54

My girls never mind the cold unless it’s windy and freezing. They do, however seem to mind the heat a bit. I always put extra waterers out in warm weather.

Mine hate the cold, seeing as Alaska gets below zero in the winter, my hen likes to sleep in the kennel with the goats when it gets cold

Congrats on first eggs

So interesting that other chickens are
getting odd feathers, Brennas one gold feather was very obvious this morning.

My girls have continued to escape most mornings I am hoping the most recent gate blockage works.

Rosie is still broody... starting to worry about her condition. I thought she was coming out of it a few days ago, but now she seems as deep as ever.

Rainy and breezy here this morning, hopefully we will get a good break at some point so I can make Rosie come out and bathe at least.
