Oh, you got some babies!? So now you’ll have other breeds besides Leghorns?
I have had Australorp; Buff Orpington; Barred Rock, and Leghorn's. the White Leghorns are a year old now.
I think the Leghorn is my favorite. I did get 2 white orpington's so I would have nest setters.

I can’t find the original message, but... adorable!
I'll copy it off my thread for you-- It is a Red Leghorn chick, I have 2

I am trying to translate your timeline to mine, but I am tired. My Australorps were hatched in Feb (2018) I don't remember when exactly they started laying just that they were about 6 months old. They laid that entire first winter without seeming to even notice. That is despite us moving house in the middle and the biggest snow storm in 20 years. So you might just have more eggs on the way, you never know...

They are just over 7 months. If she gives me more, I won’t complain but she can do her thing as she feels fit.
When I went in to get it, she did her first squat for me, quivering 😅 I patted her back a few times firmly and she gave a few good shakes after that. They are such funny little things 🥰
I think Belle sat in the coop with her most of the morning, what a good support partner 💜
It was 50gms exactly 😁
