Crikey!! I'm very sympathetic. They move super fast when they want to! So glad her fear of you caused her to go back to safety without too much bother.

The whole thing reminded me of the day the hens ran off to catch a train and go shopping in the city :th

Funny in retrospect but very stressful while ongoing!
I knew I would be laughing afterwards but was very worried the she would reach open ground and this would be a long term project getting her back in.

Bill caught these two earlier, silly girls. He had been talking to Rosie for several min trying to coax her out while working around the coop, looked up and there was Brenna, he had no idea she was tucked in there.

That’s the biggest chick I’ve ever seen!

Finally!! Blue Eggs at Fluffy Butt Acres!

It is so exciting! A long term member of my backyard has provided me with blue eggs! Check them out.
Here are the eggs.

They are in the large butterfly bush.

They belong to my good friends the Catbirds. They have never nested in my yard before.

Hi guys. I would like your thoughts on Miss Ruby. I don’t want to keep cluttering up Bob’s thread, and would like as much advice as possible. If you’d like to weigh in, please check this out. Thanks!

I meant for the spoiler to take you directly to another thread, but I’m not sure if we have that option.
What are your known predators? Last known predator attack was when? I'd like to try and assess the actual risk involved here.

This thread is for anyone to post on and ask for advice. You are not absconding with the thread. We are all invested in Ruby and would love to help.
