The chooks were aware. All is good.I figured that would fool no one.
A hawk just screed over my house. Headed out.

Except the two leghorns weren't in that picture, nor the two orphan babies. It is nice to see them all together.![]()
I can't believe she is at death's door if she is catching mice.Hi guys. I would like your thoughts on Miss Ruby. I don’t want to keep cluttering up Bob’s thread, and would like as much advice as possible. If you’d like to weigh in, please check this out. Thanks!
I meant for the spoiler to take you directly to another thread, but I’m not sure if we have that option.
I think that is what I would do too - an hour in the morning and a few hours at end of day but put her in while you are out.A tractor is a great idea. I “chickened out” and put her back in before I left. At least she got in a dust bath. Her crop felt empty, but I did see her actually eating things off the ground. Maybe I could give her an hour each morning before work, plus the three hours in the evening. Maybe she’ll get hungry enough to eat feed. She feels like she weighs half what she used to. I haven‘t weighed her, but she thpically weighs around seven pounds when bloated. The vet drained off over a full pound of fluid, plus she dripped more, sl I don’t know her actual weight before she started losing muscle.
That's true but this feels like the first picture of more than just select groups. How is Jaffar doing with the new Barred Rocks?Except the two leghorns weren't in that picture, nor the two orphan babies.
I would have to agree with that. Takes a lot of spunk to catch a mouse.I can't believe she is at death's door if she is catching mice.
Actually he’s accepting them and even tidbitting for them all too. That's true but this feels like the first picture of more than just select groups. How is Jaffar doing with the new Barred Rocks?
I'm glad he didn't kill anyone.Actually he’s accepting them and even tidbitting for them all too.But wow is it hot here this week. 99f right now, but getting hotter.
I’m very glad, that the birds are under the porch, because some idiot backed his trailer into my back fence and dislodged a pole, and broke a few chain link mounts. I covered it up with plywood, and will repair it early tomorrow morning.
(never drink and drive, especially when pulling a trailer)![]()
