It would be a great photo if Dotty were a few inches to either left or right - but her top-knot blends with Minnie's fluff so you can't really see it.
She is an aggressive little chicken so I wasn't about to ask her to move!

Being Grandpa

Since rebuilding one daughter's bathroom I have been at the other's house babysitting. (boy do I miss my bed) Here is a couple of quick photos for all you Eve fans out there.

Two problems today:
1. I hope the eggs from the new Barred babies, get bigger than this one.
2. Emily keeps pecking me on my bumm every time I sit in the chair next to the barn/coop!

Sansa pecks me as well but she is expecting walnuts.

That is a small egg. They have to get bigger than that!

So sorry about Pasty. I'm wondering if any of your other original hen still alive? I didn't see every page, so I'm not sure. (for example : Jabber. I know Jabber was sent away because he was crowing too much. I'm just using Jabber as an example since that I really can't remember the other two's name except for Jabber and Pasty)

I have got used to the teeny tiny road-runner eggs. Makes baking a bit complicated but for breakfast and hard boiled the small ones are great. I can justify eating 4 fried eggs on toast because they are so tiny.
