Where is the carnival? I don't know this one.

This is our local Fireman's Carnival in New Bloomfield. Local food vendors, rides, and of course money raised for the fire company.

You and Rose should check it out and stop by. Saturday, July 3rd they have fireworks at 10:30. Rich and I don't have the kids, but we're going to go up for food and fireworks.

My black horse used to sleep flat out in the middle of the field like that. Her fur would be hot to the touch, but she was happy as a clam.

Riddle me this - why is it that the black cat wants to wind himself affectionately around my legs when I am wearing light colored pants and when I wear black pants it is the white cat who is suddenly so lovey-dovey?
It is just a fact of life with cats!

Okay, I have a broody problem. My hen Xzit, wanted to stay in the hot coop, and sit on a golf ball. She’s a bran new laying hen. (First egg just last week) I had to bring her into my chicken room into the Air conditioned space. She was panting bad out in the laying box.
My question is: How to break a determined broody? She can’t stay in the house forever!
