Great news! I'm so happy for youMy sick chick is doing better. Once she recovers I will treat you all to a naming ceremony.

Awww… so cute! When do the eggs arrive? Or do you have them already?Puffy Phyllis
That’s great. Is there feed and water in there?
Gasp!!! I missed this part about destroying Phyllis’s nest and tossing the eggs! Little jerks! (sorry, Bob… had to say it).I'm happy she is protected now, but sorry your other girls are making it difficult so you had to resort to these measures. It boggles the mind they destroyed the nest and tossed eggs. I have the opposite problem when a hen is sitting in a favorite spot. Instead of tossing eggs, they will climb in with the momma to be, even if it means sitting on top of her to lay their eggs so she'll tuck them under her. If I do not block her off and mark her eggs, I run the risk of staggered hatches.
Indeed! Everyone should get to see that!!!I think everyone should be able to look outside their kitchen window while doing dishes and see this. One very happy hen with her group of littles.
