I think I need a picture to just plain understand this!

Sorry, I'll take a picture tomorrow. Maybe in the meantime does this make more sense? The litter box cover is attached so that it's top is against the wall of the run. It's a box on its side basically. The feeder sits on one of the sides, and the remaining sides act as a rain shelter.

No apologies, it's interesting and funny to me too! I am picturing somebody waiting there in Box 3, then zipping over as soon as Box 2 is vacated.

That actually happens. Hattie did it today. She was waiting in box 3 for Sydney to finish up in box 2.

I have put some magazines in box 3 for them to pass the time.
