2 days ago I sat on a chair outside and they came up to inspect what I was doing and up she hopped onto my knee, I love it. Snow would almost put my back out if she tried it, my plump baby

Ruby roosted tonight. Yay! I also saw her eat pellet feed in the morning. Double yay! She’s still weak, but she “spoke” a little today. Her voice was quiet, but she’s usually a talker and I was glad to hear her.

Fly strike is horrible. I'm glad you caught it in time ))
Deana went to bed in the nest box tonight which she never does.
I'll be checking her over head to toe in the morning.

Very sorry, I haven’t been on BYC lately. It’s been a very busy and hot week. Several fires have happened. Even 1/4 of my little Main Street in town, burned down to the ground, (including my friends store, where Emma came from) Difficult times here lately. I will probably never catch up on this thread.
