That's crazy. You are a regular roost now. How did that happen? There must be a story!

Given these girls have been running from me as if I was the devil incarnate from day 1, it's astounding. I have been petting them on the roost to try & get them over their fear but this is the first time a Vorwerk has approached me of her own free will.

I'm not sure. Probably Freya. She is the boldest of these girls.

Belle will still do it to me when the opportunity presents itself, if not shoulder then my knee. Won’t let me pat her of course but I take what I can get she’s always going to be my little baby out of the 2 girls.
(I always just hope her feet are clean and no cecal or poop is deposited on me in her perching time so far I have been fortunate )

Yes, that's always a worry. And so many of my little ones have feathered feet so they are always filthy!

Yes, although I wish I could have more than 2 (it is in my far future plans, bigger coop, add a few more) I can inspect feet as I get the ‘look’ before the flap up
First time she did it

Last time I caught it camera, she grew a lot but still gets up there

2 days ago I sat on a chair outside and they came up to inspect what I was doing and up she hopped onto my knee, I love it. Snow would almost put my back out if she tried it, my plump baby
