I think you should try - I tried but am hopeless on the phone one handed so gave up.
The way I do it the chicken is always the right way up though I might tilt her down a bit to get a good look at underneath bits.
Her head is looking behind me and her neck is under my arm-pit.
Mostly she is resting on my forearm but if I need both hands she is just wedges between my upper arm and my body.

Why do I bother to supply fresh clean water? Why do I bother putting ice cubes in it when it is hot?
Why do I wash out their water bowls?
Why?

All they do is drink from muddy puddles.

With no disloyalty to any other fine ladies, I do think Alice is particularly appealing looking. Sort of ‘dainty’.

She is. Maybe it's that bouffant on top of her head.
She and Pepper are on the smaller side. Edwina and Deana look enormous next to them.
