Sorry Marie, I'm not sure I understand.

She's in my backyard but her puffy hairdo means I can't see her eyes unless I look from underneath. The last time I saw her eyes was when the feathers on top of her head moulted.

When I bought her as a 1 week old chick from my local saddlery she cost around $30 I think.
I think she meant, "what" kind of chicken is she, not "where" is she.

It's Monday

To me, it's appropriate that Butters wears a superhero cape. She's shown great strength and tenacity 🦸‍♀️
I'll pass that compliment on to her! I'm so glad she is chicken tough in this way, her example is a lesson I'm trying to learn!

The only extras I give my flock is greens from the garden- today they got turnip greens
This is California. The majority of us here, live on junk food (don’t bite my head off, there are exceptions) :old :D

How on earth do you guys cope over there. The heat here is bad enough
We sweat, we drink, we take in a lot of fluids, I personally go jump in the lake, (so you don’t have to tell me to!) :gigjust saying.

What is this called, when your hen happily lays next to you and as you pet her, she quickly opens and closes her beak like she’s chewing bubblegum? (I like to call it (Bubble Gumming)?
Great question, I've noticed that too at times when around them, touching them, & would like to know. Specifically, what it is related to, apart from our contact with them?

There must be a term for that behavior??
Kinda like roosters “tidbitting” behavior
Exactly. No offense to Jaffar, but what we/you do in chicken keeping duplicates a lot of rooster roles. Though no rooster, ever, had the video collection you do! :D
