Sorry Marie, I'm not sure I understand.

She's in my backyard but her puffy hairdo means I can't see her eyes unless I look from underneath. The last time I saw her eyes was when the feathers on top of her head moulted.

When I bought her as a 1 week old chick from my local saddlery she cost around $30 I think.
I think she meant, "what" kind of chicken is she, not "where" is she.

What is this called, when your hen happily lays next to you and as you pet her, she quickly opens and closes her beak like she’s chewing bubblegum? (I like to call it (Bubble Gumming)?:confused:
Great question, I've noticed that too at times when around them, touching them, & would like to know. Specifically, what it is related to, apart from our contact with them?
