Drama at bedtime. Arizona and Dakota wanted back in the house tonight.Waiting on my porch, I scooped them both up in one arm, I took them to the barn/coop and told them that this is your new roost now, get used to it! But I feel like I betrayed my feathered ladies tonight!:hit
Will this never end?

I will trade you some of BLU’s feathers I have saved, for a few of the magnificent Phyllis feathers? Trust me, you are getting a priceless deal here! You have my address
I will pack some up as soon as some of the bigger ones come out!

It's so hard to be an adult. :hugs

Oh dear. I need to accelerate the charm offensive with Dotty. She it me hard on the hand just now.
OUCH - that was no joke!
But what is beginning to get me worried is that both she and Minnie have little growths starting on their legs. Given they are symmetrical I am assuming they are about to start growing Spurs. Yikes!
Also, someone was crowing just now. I was across the field so couldn’t tell who it was but if it was Dotty I am really going to be scared!
She is still submissive to the older Princesses so there is some hope.

Here is the growth on her leg. What do you think?

I wouldn’t worry. Ruby has major spurs and someone else, too. I’m forgetting at the moment, but I definitely have two hens with spurs. I wouldn’t worry about those little bumps.

That is most appreciated
Here you go!
