Now I know a thing or two about leprechaun traps. Over in Ireland they call them pubs.Sure. Just have the kids in school build them....along side the leprechaun traps.
Yep, she's growing spurs allriight.Oh dear. I need to accelerate the charm offensive with Dotty. She it me hard on the hand just now.
OUCH - that was no joke!
But what is beginning to get me worried is that both she and Minnie have little growths starting on their legs. Given they are symmetrical I am assuming they are about to start growing Spurs. Yikes!
Also, someone was crowing just now. I was across the field so couldn’t tell who it was but if it was Dotty I am really going to be scared!
She is still submissive to the older Princesses so there is some hope.
Here is the growth on her leg. What do you think?

My Beetov-Hen stopped laying eggs completely, and has spurs on each leg. She acts like the boss of the tribe, but since I got Jaffar (my rooster) she gave all authority over to him. Make no mistake, I love my Beetov-Hen she’s one of my first, and always will be my best’I arrived at my sisters a bit after 5pm and as one might expect went straight outside to see the chickens. The last time I was here was mid May. As soon as I sat down Chick, the most junior hen jumped onto my lap and Mini set about giving my trouser leg a good grooming. I spent much of the evening outside with the chickens in between the shower bursts.
According to my sister Freya, the Swedish Flower hen who is the eldest, is becoming very rooster like in her behaviour even trying to mate with Mini, the Silky hen. I watched Freya give out her bits of walnut to the others by calling them and making the head nodding I’ve found food motions roosters do.
Freya has stopped laying eggs and according to my sister, since she stopped her behaviour has been more rooster like than hen like.
Here's Freya with Mo and Chick. Mini is laying an egg.
