I assume you mean heat (though probably heart can too). She went to roost as normal and had a full crop. But she just wasn't as peppy as normal.
I will check her crop in the morning and see if she has perked up.
Heat and humidity combine for watery stools as they try to cool off by running water through their bodies.

Age does not matter. I thought Sydney was young and she did fine.
Sydney is a standard size hen. Ceres is a Jap & tiny. She's feisty but Alpia has been forcing her off the nest so she can lay. No-one else manages that. I'm hoping Alpia doesn't have a bee in her bonnet

It's OK if Alpia lays an egg with her. Just make sure you remove them so there is not a big pile of non fertile eggs in there. Alpia will keep the eggs warm.

I can remember Lilly filling in for Sydney one afternoon, just because she wanted to and Sydney could not stop her. Sydney sat in the box next door until Lilly was done. It's no worry as long as the eggs are kept warm.

All else fails, sit on the eggs yourself! I’m kidding! :lau:oops:
