As a Hamburg, he's only supposed to get about 5 pounds. After Rusty (close to 12 with room to go heavier), he's going to take getting used to. On the other hand, his better flight ability may make for a better sentinel. Not sure yet how Cheetah will handle gopher hunting though....looks like he might go right down the tunnel after them...

I have eaten a 1/4 lb hamburg before , even a 1/2 lb burg with bacon But never have I seen a 5 lb Hamburg before! Just saying. I love to eat hamburgs while I’m Campines!

Here is Diana’s mug for Monday. She has her wings out ‘cos it is getting hot again.
She seems to have mellowed a bit since losing Elizabeth. Maybe she is still in mourning.

I noticed today, that my Hen-Rietta’s eggs, are getting longer at the tapered end. 5+ years old Leghorn (is it normal?) should I be concerned?
As of today, all the chooks, are happy and healthy. Chaco is doing quite well too. (She’s such a mild mannered horse)
