Idk why but today I just noticed something a bit different.Lila is seeming a bit more small for a week old and unlike her growing quail mates.is it ok?

Hi Afi, try asking people who know about quail. On this thread, most of us have chickens.

Well, I'm listing 6 of Bunnies chicks this morning. 6 out of the 7 are boys darn it . Next year has to be better for hatching off pullets. This year I've averaged a 80% or better ratio for cockerels. The one pullet is for sure staying and the little spitfire is still unnamed. I have been toying with a idea of naming her after a racehorse I liked that recently retired. Mean Mary, but then in the back of my mind I fear if I give her such a name she'll live up to it.

Why don't you name her Spitfire? I like that. You've called her that at least twice in postings I think! Just a suggestion...

Um hello I’m sorry to bother um not about quails
Um about their brooder actually it’s really tiny.I can’t build a coop in my apartment!I though have a mini inflatable pool.will that work?

As we wrote the other evening someone had lite a fire around here, plastic and all sorts of stench.
