I've just dropped in to say I've met someone who owns chickens. He was so proud to own golden welbars bantoms, copper black marines and silver wellbar. Which are rare in the UK

Fascinating. There must be something in the roots they need to eat while moulting.

I know. I find it very interesting. I less it is just seasonal - like truffle season or asparagus Some delicacy that has just become available.

No Chicken Encounters

Tonight I held no chickens, no chickens roosted on my shoulder, and no chickens needed my help.

Phyllis roosted in the main coop and the littles put themselves to bed. I sat alone as they took care of their own business.

They grow up so fast.
