Yeh. That's very wet.

Living on sand, I haven't learnt much about wet soil and chickens. Are there any risks? I guess their feet are softer and perhaps a little more prone to bumbles?

I don't think there's a wrong way to boil an egg. Just different ways depending on how people like to eat them.

Opening myself up for ridicule by admitting not only do I dislike hard boiled and soft boiled eggs....but dislike eggs in general unless cooked very hard in butter and the yolk is throughly mixed with the whites with lots of black pepper to hide the egg taste.
Also I am not much for baking, so eggs are really wasted on me.

No ridicule. Just a touch of sadness as for some of us a perfectly boiled egg is one of life’s great pleasures which you cannot enjoy.

I'm not a big egg fan either. Most of the eggs I've collected recently I've cooked and fed back to the chickens.
