I'm going to try it. For soft boiled, how do you peel them?
I put them in an egg cup and chop the tops off with a knife. But you could take the peel off bit by bit under running water. Just crack it all over gently by rolling it under your palm before you get stuck in.

Go very, very gently.

Exactly. I am more and more inclined to plan it. I was just just checking on import permits. It might just be easier to move to Italy. This makes it sound pretty good.

I mean, yeh, Italy is gorgeous and the Italians really know how to live. I was struck by people laying down in the grass of the town square in their understated tailored elegant outfits. They were napping in the sun during their lunch breaks. La vita bella indeed. There are beautiful gardens where I work but do I ever relax outside? No. Or work outside? No. Or eat outside? No. I need to turn my habits around and start showing those gardens some love.

🤔 I think there are feathers down there...maybe another pic, just to be sure?
I just love Fret:love, any excuse to see more pics of her!
Happy to oblige.

There is a story about a man who went to dig a hole which I can't recall the details of but I bet he didn't have this problem.
I'm taking out all the posts you may have seen in the pictures and planting them along the back fence line. Of course there are lots of bugs and worms.
I dug out one spade full and a chicken came out of the hole on the spade.:th
Needless to say progress was slow. Some one had poured concrete in the hole just to make life more difficult still.:he
Three out this afternoon. No beheaded chickens. A result under the circumstances.

Having a few problems clearing up this young ladies eye. A couple of them have this slightly swollen eye surround. On one it was just a matter of giving the surround a good clean. I don't know how the encrusted stuff got on the lower eyelids and it was quite difficult to shift. This one is going to get eye drops tommorow.
