River is sick again. :(

She had a swollen weepy eye this morning and kept trying to nap standing up. I took her to a different avian vet as an emergency and he is going to give her an injection of doxycycline weekly for 6-8 weeks. One ear was blocked and she’s got bad thrush again. She’s not eating and is looking miserable. I suspect I am going to have to syringe-feed her nutrients for a while and get Nilstatin into her. Poor girl.

It’s been 13 years since I drew anything significant, so I’m reasonably happy with how this turned out. Of course, I wait until it’s completely finished before I start spotting issues! 🤦‍♀️ It looks slightly better off to one side. 😁 I’ve put it behind a spoiler in case anyone has issues with nudity.

May I give a critique? You may always say no thank you.

Phyllis is aware of where the Littles are generally and drew Sansa's attention. If Sansa had persisted Phyllis might have approached even closer. It really looked that way. There may be an historic Alliance Of The Phyllistines forming!
Maybe. It is fascinating to see Phyllis step out like that. She does not usually look to grab Sansa's attention but she has been known to wander incorrectly. Maybe if there was sound we could figure out why Sansa turned around and saw her?

Don't bug me, I'm sleeping!

(She was actually sounding like a chicken, not a sick goose: the nest she wanted was occupied, wouldn't be surprised to find 2 eggs there when I open up today)

The flash lit her up beautifully! (Wasn't expecting that)

I'm so sorry. I'm glad you have a vet that will treat her. :hugs :hugs
