Lovely picture of her. Look at that sheen!
This might be too soon, I'm not exactly clear on the timeline, but I wonder if dear Legertha roosted but passed in the night, falling off the roost? She was at work as well. As everyone probably knows now, when she got home from work she found Sylvie alive.
And it was Lilly that checked on Sylvie, peeped a little to her too
Thanks MarieI'm deeply sorry for this loss.![]()

This is because I still don't know what happened. I wasn't at home (neither was Mrs BY Bob on Thursday) and all my knowledge came from the cameras alone. This has really made me feel sick.
I couldn't work out what happened. This is deeply upsetting, heart breaking![]()
Oh RC.My chickens are no longer tolerating me hugging them. They want to go to bed. I might do the same and curl up with a cat or three.
Thanks so much.Oh this is just awful Bob.I'm so sorry. No words can say.

Thanks. Those are very kind words.Bob doesn’t deserve this. I really don’t know anyone who loves their babies more than he does. (I’m sure we all do, but we also know what Bob has been through, just to have those two littles) I personally am feeling much anxiety about the situation. (As if they were my own babies)![]()

Thank you so much for this. You are a real gem. While we wait for Bob to get home what we can do is keep his thread ticking over. None of us are in a position to help and as yet we don't know who is alive and who is not.
Matilda.
