Lovely fluffy butts The girls were quite obliging!

Was Sansa's intentionally blurry (so we don't notice the poor feathers?) Or was Sansa despondent about you taking her fluffy bottom picture when she isn't looking her best??? REgardless, the blurry pic makes her bottom look extra fluffy!!!

It was intentional. No one needs to see it clearly right now and I thought it was a nice touch to protect her vanity.

Love the leaf rustling. My tribe has already broken the leaves (unless the wind snitched them) into quarter to half inch pieces....all of them...

That is one of my favorite sounds too. I also love Sansa's sing song voice and Hattie's squeaky little voice.

There is a lot happening right now. I'm hoping that others may learn from them.

I was thinking the other day how it seems that I never lack for drama here. There is always something happening here with the tribe.

I finally made it. Nearly three years late, but here. Over 7K pages so will likely never know the entire Fluffy Butt Acres story.

Weather has surprised me. 5 am temp had gone UP to 10F, and now up to 13F. Dawn color is just starting to line the horizon at 645am. This should be the coldest temp. Heading to coop to see how they're doing.

Everybody double sized due to fluffed up feathers, otherwise fine. Nipples froze again. Thawed them, refilled, added a bit of vinegar (hoping to keep thawed out, but bringing home a submersible heat coil). Kids letting them out after daylight today. Most will head for the crock pots for water and range all over in spite of the temps. (They like being outside that much!)

Eating, felt nice and warm, wasnt shivering, has been laying, joining in the afternoon sunning party close to the coop, raiding the oyster shell in the coop. Will see in the morning how she's acting.

I'm so glad to hear that. Very scary. It's horrible when you can't find one.

So true. I can't get away from her. I perry sure it's because I always give her food.
