OMG, @MaryJanet, I was like 'who is this? Took me a minute...miss your previous chicken image.....but the new roo image is striking...will just get some taking used to( I usually don't bother reading the names...due to my really needing cheater glasses but , umm, 'forgetting' to get some. So i recognize the author's by their image/icon, LOL. Guess I'm off to the nearest CVS now.

This morning everything was covered in snow which took me by surprise when I woke up. Nobody was particularly keen on leaving the Chicken Palace complex.
Then the sun came out and it is 40F and everyone is out enjoying themselves and showing off their fluffy butts.

Maggie’s balance remains good and her crop still doesn’t empty overnight. But she ate some venison today and some starter grower food. I am feeling optimistic.

How is her weight RC?

I haven’t weighed her because I have been prioritizing massaging her crop to empty it in the morning.
Maybe later in the week I will skip that and weigh her first.
She tolerates me messing with her until she says ‘enough!’, so I am not sure I could manage both on the same day.
She seems reasonably well in herself. Quite energetic and chatty. Her poop is runny but not clear water like Minnie’s was so I think food is making its way through.
